During the 2020 election season, PLP partnered with The Strange Foundation’s Election Infusions initiative, which offered funding and momentum for groups working on creative, strategic election-focused projects. As an editorial partner, PLP’s En Pointe Interview Series highlighted three of these incredible projects, matching writers from our community with the talented creators spearheading a variety of initiatives working to get-out-the-vote in creative ways.

Read about a group of actors who combined Latinx coming-of-age traditions and voting advocacy into an interactive virtual experience that encouraged the young Latinx vote; a talented textile artist who created the Textile Artists Fundraiser, which gathered 100+ fiber works to raise funds for grassroots organizations in battleground states; and an interdisciplinary designer who is the force behind a mutual-aid app that supports citizen-led reporting on local polling stations.
