In spring 2018, PLP founder Sarah Rafson worked with the Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture (SoA) to organize, EX-CHANGE, an end-of-year exhibition celebrating the work and research by students at the school. The two-day exhibition, celebration, and reflection featured discussion between SoA faculty, students, local practitioners, and special guests including Amy Kulper (RISD), Ming Fung, AIA (Hodgetts+Fung), and Mitch McEwen (Princeton University School of Architecture).
Rafson worked alongside faculty and students in all stages of the exhibition process and headed the first EX-CHANGE publication, associated with the exhibition, which further showcases the work of SoA students and the broad range of questions and provocations the school explores each semester.
